The 15th annual Susan G. Komen Tyler Race For The Cure will be Saturday, May 11th at Bergfeld Park in Tyler.
The event raises money to help find a cure for breast cancer and will begin at 7a with a cancer survivors breakfast. There will be all kinds of activities throughout the day during the event.
Registration is open and can be done online or register the week of the race at Fresh by Brookshire's on Old Jacksonville Hwy. May 8th - 10th from 10a - 7p. If you're not up for racing, there's an option to Sleep In For The Cure too along with Dine Out For The Cure at El Charro on 5th Street Monday, May 6th from 5p - 9p.
On race day, the 5k run/walk will begin at 8a, a Kid's Dash will get started by the gun at 8:45a and the one mile run/walk will begin at 9a with the awards ceremony set for 9:45a in the amphitheater.
