New York's iconic toy store F.A.O. Schwarz is closing its doors July 15. According to an article in The New York Times, the store is closing before its lease ends to avoid the increasing cost of rent in the area.

The store is one that I have never visited, but one that remains vivid in my imagination thanks to popular films like 'Big,' starring Tom Hanks.

The store is known for its incredible array of toys from rare and expensive to ordinary. Conan O'Brien visited the store during the holiday season while he was hosting 'Late Night.' See his humorous tour through the toy wonderland.

The popular tourist spot is also the oldest toy store in the country is currently owned by parent company Toys R Us.
