‘Fringe’ Season 5 Releases Epic Full-Length Trailer

Fringe Season 5 Premiere Transilience Thought Unifier Model 11
FOX

We’ve been talking quite a bit about the Emmys today, and with good reason, but there comes with the award a tinge of sadness that ‘Fringe‘ has never been acknowledged for the major categories.  Still, with ‘Fringe’ set to begin its fifth and final season this Friday, September 28, it’s time to start talking!  We’ve seen bits and pieces of footage so far, but how would you like to see the most epic, brain-scanningly good trailer to date?

‘Fringe’ might be beginning its final 13-episode season this Friday night on FOX, but it will not be going quietly.  Case and point, the network has released a full three-minute trailer for the upcoming episodes, chock full of footage new and old!  The trailer does an excellent job of re-capping “Letters of Transit,” the season 4 episode that brought us to this point, but imagine our surprise when the trailer moved beyond season 5 premiere “Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11!

We’ll save the best surprise for last after you’ve watched the awesome trailer below, but suffice to say, the ‘Fringe’ team weren’t the only ones to be encased in amber, and awaiting rescue in the year 2036!  In the meantime, Entertainment Weekly has hold of some new character portraits, which acknowledge not only Etta (Georgina Haig) as a regular, but give us glimpses of Old Nina Sharp and Broyles as well!

Take a look at the bad-ass new trailer below, the photos beneath, and tell us if you’ll tune in for the final season of ‘Fringe this Friday in the comments!
