You could say that Game of Thrones is a popular television program. People tend to follow its production, from time to time, and speculate on its future, one might suggest. You could also say that Season 6 has some anticipation around it. This epic second trailer for the April premiere would not dissuade this notion. Please, remain calm as you watch.

Following a Sunday premiere in Los Angeles, Game of Thrones has officially whipped up its second full-length trailer, chock-full of new action and details to scrutinize. There’s very little hint of Jon Snow this time, but there is a new Red Priestess in Meereen, along with some further hints of where each character will be headed this year, past, or present.

So reads the Season 6 premiere synopsis for “The Red Woman”:

Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.

And the overall Season 6 logline:

Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.

In the meantime, check out the latest on the Game of Thrones Season 6 with trailers below, and stay tuned for the April 24 premiere!
