Macklemore and Ed Sheeran will soon be able to tell you how to get to 'Sesame Street!' The freckly pair are both scheduled to appear on the 45th season of the children's series, and now you can get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at their appearances.

Macklemore will be transformed into a persona named "Mucklemore" for his appearance, and he'll help Oscar the Grouch and friends tackle thrift store finds. Obviously, a reworking of his massive hit 'Thrift Shop' is going to be featured in the episode! Macklemore couldn't be more excited about his stint, gushing, "I think it's every rapper's dream to make it on 'Sesame Street.'"

Macklemore won't just be performing his song, either -- his character will be an integral part of the entire episode. Awesome!

Sheeran won't be parodying his own songs for the show, which baffled us briefly -- he's got a song called 'Lego House!' Instead, the '+' singer recorded a new original tune written just for the series. The song is described as a "kid empowerment jingle" about life at home and school, and the 'Sesame Street' crew is thrilled that the Brit breakout star is a part of it -- especially one particular Muppet.

"I stopped by," Sheeran deadpanned. "I got a call from Elmo. He wanted me to play dominoes with Grover."

"Ed Sheeran's music is so melodic and lyrical, it just seemed to fit him," music director Bill Sherman told Billboard. "He loved the song, and got to hang out with the Muppets, which was really cool."

The only bummer? 'Sesame Street' episodes are filmed a year in advance, so we won't get to indulge in all this fun until late 2014!
