There's really no stopping Hailee Steinfeld. The 18 year old, who made her standout feature film debut in 2010's True Grit, nabbing an Oscar nomination along the way, is proving to be quite the multi-hyphenate entertainer. And despite her obvious proficiency towards the art of film, it is another one of Steinfeld's passions that will be soon taking center stage: music.

The actress-model-singer recently signed a music deal with Republic Records, and will be releasing her empowering debut single, "Love Myself," on August 7. Luckily, we wont have too wait two whole weeks for their first taste of Steinfeld's musical direction, as the artist recently teamed up with Just Jared to release a preview teaser of the song on the entertainment site's Instagram account. Listen to the preview, below.

While we've been wondering for a while about exactly what type of musical genre Hailee would be exploring with her debut—country? indie? classic power ballads? gangster rap, perhaps?—the upbeat club pop of "Love Myself" feels both surprising and right on point with the singer's age range, perky attitude, and bright style. Plus, the throbbing dance-floor beat and fast-paced, self-love-touting chorus lend perfectly to the uplifting, positive message of the track.

Co-written by Steinfeld with Julia Michaels, and produced by Swedish duo Mattman & Robin, Captain Cuts, Harvey Mason, Jr. and The Futuristics, "Love Myself" seems like a total self-esteem pop anthem, with lyrics like "I love myself, don't need anybody else / Hey, gonna love myself, no I don't need anybody else / I love me! Can't help myself, no I don't anybody else / Anytime, day or night."

The music video for "Love Myself" is due out August 7. We have a feeling that Hailee's bestie and "Bad Blood" co-star Taylor Swift will be very, very proud.
