Tucked away into a shopping center on the Northeast side of town you'll find The Last Book Store in Tyler.

Yes, that's the name of the store, inspired by the Last Book Sale, where the owners had intended to purchase only three books, but left with 300. Until yesterday, when a friend shared a list of the '9 Best Bookstores in Texas' with me, I had no idea this place existed.

Now, I'm eager to go check it out. Scanning through their inventory online, I found some interesting things listed including a 1st Edition copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, valued at $200.

Now, I'm wondering how much my books are worth! This seems like a really cool find, and I look forward to discovering more rare and surprising books at The Last Bookstore.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy their Facebook page, where the cover photo is home to a Ray Bradbury quote,

"A book has got a smell. A new book smells great. An old book smells even better. An old books smells like Ancient Egypt.
