Townsquare Media has learned two people are in custody in connection with Tuesday's homicide at a Tyler apartment complex that left one person dead from a gunshot wound to the back.

Investigators have secured arrest warrants for capital murder on Ladarrius Devonte Warren, 20, of Tyler and Earnest Deaurndra Jackson Jr.,19, of Tyler.

Investigators learned McGill was in the process of selling marijuana to the suspects. The suspects had the intention of stealing McGill’s marijuana without paying for it when Warren shot McGill.

Tyler investigators, patrol officers and the U.S. Marshals Service located both suspects on Wednesday and took them into custody without force.

Judge Kennedy set the bond at $2 million on each suspect. The investigation is still ongoing.
