Saturday, October 22, is the inaugural Rose City Rotor Fest at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Tyler.

Many events will happen during the day including law enforcement demonstrations, Liberty Jump Team, a perforamance from the TJC Jazz Band, helicopter rides and the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall will be on display. The wall is a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.

The event is free, however, parking at the museum will be $5. There will be free parking at John Tyler High School and Harvey Convention Center with buses running back and forth from the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum.

Activities will start at 9 A.M. with Congressman Louie Gohmert speaking at 11 A.M. Activities end at 4 P.M.

Some restrictions to keep in mind is no smoking is allowed inside the airport fence as well as no coolers, alcohol and weapons are allowed either.
