Oh what a tangled Twitter web they weave. In a short series of tweets that were indirect but seemingly connected, it appears that Mariah Carey will be working with new school R&B crooner Miguel on a new track and video.

Here's what happened, per the sleuths at Idolator. Someone in director Joseph Kahn's camp pulled the old tweet-and-delete, where they revealed some info, realized, "Oh, crap, I shouldn't have done that" and immediately removed it from the feed, but not before some wily fan saw it and began to circulate it. That type of tweeting can also be a totally on purpose way to leak info, too. That, or one of Kahn's lackeys is about to be on the bread line since they were fired.

The tweet read: "working on a Mariah Carey + Miguel video for the man Joseph Kahn, wouldn’t trade this for 1,000 Coachellas."

Then Kahn tweeted about a video that he can't talk about even though one of his underlings already did that. And here we are, looking forward to a Mariahguel collabo.

Are we excited or are we excited about the high octave diva and the butter smooth crooner pairing up? Hawt!
