Just days after Zayn Malik left the Asian leg of One Direction's On the Road Again tour due to "stress," U.K. tabloid the Daily Star reports that the 1D boy bander is meeting with his lawyers. Does this mean he's quitting the band?

"At the moment he’s convinced he wants out. He is finding it all too much and wants to quit the group," a source told the tabloid. "His legal team is seeing what the situation is. There is a strong chance he will have to fulfill his commitments and he might change his mind once he’s had time away from the spotlight. But as it stands he’s not keen to continue."

While the source certainly makes the situation sound dramatic, we're taking this news with a huge grain of salt. Though, yes, Zayn abruptly left the tour to fly back to the U.K. and allegedly reconcile with his fiancée Perrie Edwards after new allegations that he cheated on her, that doesn't mean that he is full-on quitting the band. Plus, the band has a five-year, five-album contract, Fuse reports, which can't be all that easy to leave. And until we hear an official word from either Zayn or a 1D rep, we're going to take the Daily Star's report at face value.

Still, there is no denying that times are certainly stressful for the band. Besides Zayn leaving the tour and angrily denying the cheating allegations, his fellow band member Louis Tomlinson just broke up with his longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder. Of course, the ever loyal and supportive Directioners have their group's back, trending the hashtag #WeWillAlwaysBeHereForOurBoys1D on Twitter.
