James Durbin is hitting the road for his first-ever national tour this spring. The ‘American Idol‘ alum will be promoting his debut album, ‘Memories of a Beautiful Disaster.’

The 23-year-old will traverse the country, visiting 18 cities around the U.S. He’ll kick off his run on April 12 in Los Angeles, Calif., and wrap things up on May 27 in Carlsbad, N.M. The tour includes an opening date for Evanescence, and several dates with Buckcherry in May. Durbin will also appear at the Rock On the Range music festival on May 20.

Durbin released ‘Memories of a Beautiful Disaster’ in November 2011, peaking at No. 8 on Billboard’s Rock Albums chart and No. 36 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album chart. He has unveiled two singles from the LP, including ‘Stand Up’ and ‘Love Me Bad.’

Fans will also be able to catch Durbin on the small screen when he returns to the ‘Idol’ stage on Thursday, April 12 for a special live performance with his band.
