We now officially know what Janet Jackson meant when she told fans she was "planning for a family": The pop star is pregnant with her first child just two weeks before her 50th birthday, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Jackson postponed her Unbreakable World Tour and shared a video on April 6 explaining why.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know,” she told the camera, before taking a deep breath and breaking into a grin. “My husband and I are planning our family! So I’m gonna have to delay the tour.”

Jackson married 41-year-old Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, a fashion retailer, in 2012.

"Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now,” Jackson asked of her fans in the April video. “I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

Janet didn't specify what stage she and her husband were at in their family-planning; it seems we know now.
