Jewel Has A Baby Boy

The stork has been busy here lately with celebrity babies!  Kate Hudson and Victoria Beckham did it over the weekend and now it was Jewel's turn!  It happened last night around 7 as Jewel and her husband Ty Murray welcomed Kase Townes Murray into the world weighing in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.

In a statement on her website, Jewel says

Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy Kase Townes Murray into the world! We are over come with happiness - it really is as great as everyone told us it would be- better even!"

She has also been working on a children's album called The Merry Goes 'Round, which should be available in August in addition to co-hosting the Bravo show Platinum Hit.
