John Mayer Is ‘Quite Happy’ With Katy Perry

When Katy Perry first hooked up with John Mayer, many thought it would be a quick fling after rebounding from her divorce from Russell Brand, but apparently it's more than that now. Not that long ago, Katy spoke out publicly for the first time referring to John Mayer as her boyfriend and now John has done the same for Katy in a new article in Rolling Stone magazine.

Speaking to the magazine on the subject of his new found relationship, John says, "It's been . . . I mean, I'm quite happy. I'm happy in all aspects of my life. I'm very happy in all aspects of my life." John goes on to say that he would like to be married and live a very traditional life.

John is currently working on his voice trying to get it back to the way it was before his granuloma was discovered. Although he's not writing new material, John is spending a lot of time listening to the Greatful Dead and spending time on his property in Montana. John says he does have plans to tour this summer as he is opening for Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival and will be at New Orleans Jazz Fest.
