Katy Perry Voice’s Smurfette

Growing up in the '80's I remember the girls in my neighborhood having all of the small plastic Smurf characters.  They were the thing then, I can only imagine what the price of that collection would be now!

Well the Smurfs movie is slated to come out August 3rd and Katy Perry will be the voice of Smurfette.  Katy tells the Associated Press that voicing the role of Smurfette was a natural thing for her to do and that she feels

"like a cartoon"

the majority of the time, so why not do the movie!  She also said the movie was fun to make too!
