As artists release new songs, it's often several months before they can get a video produced to accompany it.  So in the interim, many artists and record labels produce lyric videos that show the words to the songs, so when people like me go to YouTube searching for the video, the artist or label gets credited with watching the video.

I went searching for Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" video last night, which was unavailable.  So I was treated to the lyric video to the song which was produced using Katy Perry's Facebook updates in their timeline mode.  Kinda cool, I thought.  But I'd like to know what you think about her song.
