When Katy Perry's California Dreams hit s the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie on July 28th it'll definitely have an odor to it - an odor of cotton candy!

"It's going to smell like you're in cotton candy heaven."  Katy tells the Rolling Stone.

She goes on to say that she'll go through 15 costume changes throughout the show and her show has an actual story line to it.  She says,

"Touring is no longer an ordinary thing where you play an instrument in jeans and a T-shirt. It has some pizazz these days, and I'm definitely bringing the pizazz with a lot of bells and whistles. The show has a Broadway feel to it. It's got a storyline that's going to be very interesting, kind of loosely based on my life, but a cartoon version."

It looks like we'll get a preview of what her California Dreams tour will have in store because she is performing on the Grammy Awards this year.   Sunday, February 13th on CBS.

You can also see Katy showing off her acting skills too because she is playing herself in an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy of How I Met Your Mother which is scheduled to air February 7th.
