We guess blondes do have more fun! Kelly Clarkson is having a blast in the U.K., and she kept that energy going at the 2012 Capital FM Summertime Ball. The ‘Duets‘ coach took to the stage to perform her biggest and best hits for the sold out London crowd.

Rocking a dark blue sequined tunic top, sparkly earrings and black pants, Clarkson blew the roof off with her powerhouse performances. Except for the case of the midtempo ballad ‘Mr. Know It All,’ the ‘American Idol‘ alum kept the crowd jumping with fists pumping to her anthems ‘Since You Been Gone,’ ‘Stronger’ and ‘My Life Would Suck Without You.’

Other than ‘My Life Would Suck Without You,’ Clarkson stuck with her breakup jams, in part because she knows they’re her most relatable songs. “I always like to sing about a little pain, a little happiness, and a little fun,” she said in a recent interview across the pond. “There’s always a wide variety. I think just ’cause that encompasses everybody.”

Kel kept the energy up at Wembley Stadium, frequently instructing the sold out audience to put their hands up and sing along. One thing unusual about the showcase — for Kelly, at least? She kept her shoes on! Let’s see if she keeps that habit up when she returns to the U.K. for a five-date arena tour this October.
