Where was the best seat in the house at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards? Don't ask Kesha.

The Rainbow singer, who introduced a performance by Logic, Alessia Cara and Khalid at last night's (August 27) show, shared a gaffe on Twitter in which she and a pal mistakenly wound up sans seats at the show. How? Not so sure, but hopefully the network will pick up her dry cleaning bill.

"the vmas lost our seats so," Kesha captioned the shot, in which she's sprawled out across the floor in reach of a seat. Followers seemed to be mostly confused by the mix-up.

"They couldn't afford a throne for you my queen," one wrote, while another noted "You're still the queen of the night."

Kesha spoke to the need for suicide prevention as she introduced the performance, and insisted that mental health was a necessary topic to cover in the media.

“It has been said that if you knew who walked beside you, you would never experience fear and doubt again,” she noted. “The truth is piercing and the truth is what matters. The truth is none of us are alone.”
