Never mind all the talk that LADY GAGA's new hit "Born This Way" sounds so close to Madonna's "Express Yourself" that Madonna might sue.  During an appearance Monday night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Lady Gaga herself revealed that Madonna reached out to her and expressed her complete support for “Born This Way.”

Gaga, who walked out to meet Leno while carrying the three Grammy trophies she won Sunday night, said she received an e-mail from Madonna and her people, expressing “their love and complete support on behalf of the single.”  Gaga seemed to assert that Madonna’s expression of support was the end of the song controversy, proclaiming to Leno, “If the queen says it shall be, then it shall be.”  She also said there is no more "adoring and loving" Madonna fan than she, adding that she's "the hugest fan, personally and professionally.”

Gaga also had two big announcements: she said the video for “Born This Way” will “be out very soon," and revealed plans to tape an HBO special of her Monster Ball concert tour.  No air date was announced.
