Lady Gaga sat down with Andy Cohen for 'Watch What Happens Live' on Bravo last night (Sept. 11).

It's surprising that Mommy Monster appeared on this of all shows, but she was there, with her big, brown wig and dynamite smile and it was one of the funniest and most lighthearted interviews she's done, since she talked about Cher, Miley Cyrus and stripping. Cohen himself said that it was a happy way to end the saddest day of the year.

During the chat, Gaga said she watched Bravo every day during the recovery period from her hip injury.

About the Cher duet that was shelved, Gaga explained, "I love Cher so much. When we do a duet that we release, I want it to be special. I want us to work on it together. I wrote this song a long, long time ago." She also said she wanted to work on something directly with Cher that was up to par for their standards.

Gaga addressed the rampant Miley Cyrus criticism, saying, "Lighten up and leave her alone. It's pop music."

She was asked who she would take a dip in the lady pond with -- meaning what girl would she hook up with. She said she loves women and hinted at a lesbian past, but also said that she likes Russian strippers, after admitting that she stripped on the Lower East Side when she was 19.

Gaga joked that Papa Germanotta did not dig that career move.
