Robin Thicke may have 'Blurred Lines' at a 2013 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty, but he may not have necessarily crossed one with his wife, Paula Patton. The mystery woman whose derriere he was snapped groping is speaking out on the scandal -- but Patton isn't.

E! Online spoke with the woman in question, revealed to be New York City college student and rich girl Lana Scolaro. She revealed that she moved to the Big Apple in July and first met Thicke about a week before the show and its ensuing soiree.

And now for that photo.

"I knew his hand was on my butt, but I didn't know that there was a mirror," Scolaro admitted. As for the Photoshop allegations, she simply retorted, "I don't even know how to use Photoshop."

She insists she wasn't trying to create a controversy with the shot. "I didn't even know that was the reflection until I uploaded it, and someone commented on it," she confessed. "I was just like, ‘Oh I'll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke, like everybody else.'"

Except not everybody else got groped by the singer. There's the literal and figurative rub.

As for Thicke's wife? Sources tell E! that the photo is a "non-issue" for the couple, who have more than overshared about their explicitly adventurous sex life in the past. Maybe he just knew she wanted it.
