A lane closure early next week could cause traffic delays along Loop 323. The City of Tyler encourages all drivers to find alternative routes.

If weather cooperates, the westbound, outside lane of Loop 323 near Paluxy will be closed on Tuesday, April 3 from approximately 10 am to 3 pm.

The closure will allow a contractor for Oncor to replace a street light pole at the 1700 block just west of Paluxy and McMillian Dr. on ESE Loop 323.

Because this is a high traffic area, drivers are encouraged to create alternate routes when possible. If alternate routes are not possible, drivers are asked to pay special attention to all signage associated with the work, and be extra cautious when near workers.

This closure may be rescheduled due to weather conditions, as there is a chance of rain on Tuesday. Again, caution is encouraged near workers, but alternative routes are the best option to get you where you're going quickly and safely.
