With just over a week until Usher‘s ‘Looking 4 Myself’ officially arrives, the singer is giving fans a chance to preview the album with 30-second snippets of 15 of the 18 tracks on the deluxe edition. The eight-minute clip posted on SoundCloud reveals plenty of sexually-charged lyrics and a lot of dance music.

The electro-influenced ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ opens the record and sets the tone for what follows. On ‘Numb,’ Usher sings, “Keep on doing the same old thing and expecting change / Well is that really insanity or just a loser’s game?” ‘Numb’ sounds like Euro-pop, while ‘Euphoria’ lives up to its name with driving synths that pace a club-ready beat.

A few songs break from the dance-pop formula, like ‘What Happened To U,’ which has a more soulful flavor, ‘Say the Words,’ a retro R&B song built around falsetto, and ‘Dive,’ a mid-tempo ballad on which Usher coos, “I knew I was ready, baby, to take that dive.”

The single ‘Scream’ and the Rick Ross collabo ‘Lemme See’ are two of the tracks that were left out of the preview clip. ‘Looking 4 Myself’ hits retailers on June 12, two years after his last full-length release, ‘Raymond v. Raymond,’ which produced the hits ‘OMG’ and ‘More.’
