There is something special about being a homeowner. You have a place to call your own, you no longer have to turn over rent money to someone else and you can personalize your place to fit your tastes without being restricted (in most cases!). However, home ownership can be challenging though because the cost of a home is pretty steep. That's where Longview Habitat For Humanity can step in and help out.

The Longview chapter of Habitat For Humanity is looking for potential new home owners. They are seeking applicants for moderately low to low income affordable housing. You'll need to attend one of the special meetings to qualify and Habitat could end up helping you build and buy a home of your own!

Application orientation meetings will take place at Stamper Park Resource Center at 502 S. Center St. in Longview on the following days:

  • Sunday, September 8th @ 3p
  • Monday, September 9th @ 7p
  • Tuesday, September 10th @ 7p (Spanish only)

You can also call to make special arrangements or to find out more information about the application process by calling the Longview Habitat For Humanity office at 903.236.0900 ext. 201.
