Longview, Marshall and Gladewater Among The Teams Playing In The 'Battle On The Border' This Weekend

The Gladewater Bears head into the Battle On The Border Friday night looking awesome thanks to their huge win over the Pittsburg Pirates last Friday night. This Friday, they'll be taking on Lafayette's St. Thomas More's Cougars in the 4th annual Battle On The Border high school football showcase at 6 p.m.

The Battle On The Border features twelve teams from Texas, Louisiana and now includes teams from Arkansas and Alabama and will be played in Shreveport's Independence Stadium. Gladewater, Marshall, Lufkin and Longview represent teams from Texas and we wish them all the best in this showcase.
