With all the news of restaurants closing down over the past couple of weeks, it's great to hear the other jobs are still being created thanks to new restaurants opening! Longview has a couple of new restaurants open and is now home to an Indian and Mediterranean restaurant along with a hot links joint!

The Longview News-Journal reports that Chill'um Grill and More has expanded and opening a second location in Longview. This unique restaurant serves food with an Indian and Mediterranean flare. The original location is on Hawkins Pkwy. between Airline Rd. and N. Fourth St. and the new location is located in the Spring Hill area on E. George Richey Rd. at Gilmer Rd. The new location in Spring Hill offers a variety of breakfast items, along with delectables for lunch, like sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads in addition to the Indian and Mediterranean dishes they have been known for.

Also, opening in Longview is King's Hot Links! Located on Mobberly, owner Sheila Jones will be serving up hot links along with burgers, wings and the fixin's to go with a Texas tradition! With roots going back to Pittsburg Hot Links you're going to be satisfied. As Sheila tells the Longview News-Journal,

The taste is unique. Hot links is a Texas thing. Hot links have been around for more than 100 years."

It is good to see that there are more local restaurants opening up in East Texas giving us more options when it comes to dining out!
