Longview’s Alley Fest Is This Weekend

Alley Fest in Longview is the premiere event for the city and the celebration of the arts will be taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (May 10th-12th). Alley Fest is a three day event that takes over the streets of historic downtown Longview with the emphasis on Alley Art, the Alley Run and Kids Fest. However, there are a ton of other things for the entire family to do including live music during MusicFest.

AlleyArt features more than 100 booths of fine arts and hand crafted items that have been created by East Texas artists and others from around Texas and the country. In addition to art, there will be pottery, sculptures and wood carvings too.

KidsFest will have a ton of activities for the little ones that includes face painting, arts & crafts, entertainment stage with story telling and kids can paint the VW! Kids can create things from scratch in the crafts tent and all activities are free and open from 10a-6p Saturday adn 11a-3p Sunday.

AlleyRun is a runners dream, there will be a 5k, 10k and marathon run beginning at 8:30a at Heritage Plaza.

MusicFest during AlleyFest features music and street performers all weekend long with a huge line-up up of entertainment that will last throughout the night.
