Longview’s Lap Pool Opens Along With the Diving Board

It's been a long time coming and now that renovations are complete, Longview residents can now take a dive off of the only diving board at the city's pool. The Longview Swim Center opened for kids and adults on Monday after undergoing about $100,000 in renovations to the deep end where the lap lanes and diving board are. Now that it's open, this facility not only offers diving from the high board and doing laps in the lanes, swimmers can swim in the other pool, slide down the water slide and get wet in the spray ground.

The Longview Swim Center is located on Fairmont St. next to Pine Tree High School. Longview also offers it's residents swimming opportunities at their other swimming facility on 10th Street in addition to other spray grounds located throughout the city thanks to the Parks and Recreation Department.
