With Christmas just a few days away, there are five shows (movies) that I must see every year or I'll feel like my Christmas is a bit incomplete! I've been watching these shows on television for years, there's just something about them. They're all timeless and classics and thankfully I've got most of them on DVD, so I can watch them at anytime. Here are my five must see shows during Christmas:

  • Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Seeing this on CBS every year is a must! This is just a classic that will never get old. I love the style in which it was produced and it has all the classic songs and voices. Burl Ives as Sam the Snowman is just the best!

  • Frosty The Snowman

Another must see TV short that comes on CBS every year that's narrated by Jimmy Durante is just another classic that I've got to see each year! I guess I have something for those Rankin/Bass holiday produced cartoon shows!

  • Shrek The Halls

This one isn't quite as old as some on the list, but my daughter loved the heck out of Shrek when she was little and I just got hooked on watching this year after year (or at least the last six or seven)! It's Donkey, Shrek, Fiona and the rest of Fairy Tale land creatures trying to get along during the holidays!

  • Charlie Brown Christmas

Charlie Brown tries to find the true meaning of Christmas but is upset with all the commercialism - something we experience more and more of each year.

  • It's A Wonderful Life

Now this one is a true classic because it's in black and white and has the famous line - 'Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets his wings!"
