If you thought that the Mariah Carey x Nicki Minaj feud was O-V-E-R after both divas parted ways with 'American Idol' after one fight-filled season, Mimi may have reignited it with her comments on Hot 97. The singer likened her work environment to hell and said it was like working with Satan.

How's that for stoking the fires?

And how can we not think she is speaking specifically about Her Minajesty? We always knew it was too much diva for one 'Idol' panel.

During her chat with host Angie Martinez, Carey said she didn't like the gig and hinted that she was blindsided by Minaj's hiring.

"Honestly, I hated it," Mimi admitted. "Because, here's what it was. I was lead to believe I was the first person signed on. I was, I don't want to say anything that's gonna, heaven forbid, look like I am saying something negative … but honestly, I thought it was going to be a three-person panel, they gave me a nice dangling … monetary moment. And I was like OK, Randy Jackson will be there … I've know him forever. He used to play bass for me. This isn't a big deal. It wasn't that."

She continued, "It was like hell, like going to work every day in hell with Satan." She laughed sheepishly and said, "Nah, I'm just playing. It didn't effect me that much. I was disappointed."

The high-octave diva also said that she found that a lot of talented people weren't put through to the next rounds due to political reasons. "I like being in a studio better and going on my own tours, so we're going back to that," she said.

Dem Babies also sing on her new album, 'The Art of Letting Go.'

She also suggested that the album is due at the top of the year. She mentioned February, since she has love songs ripe for Valentine's Day -- and love-hate songs, too.
