Meet Sam — Pet of the Week

This handsome pointer mix is Sam. He’s 2 years old and is available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler. Sam is well behaved around cats and children.

At home the Pointer is as likely as any dog to share the sofa with you during the big game, play ball with the kids for as long as they want, and alert you to the presence of strangers. Sam has been neutered and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. He has been micro-chipped for identification purposes and when Sam is adopted he will receive a gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
