Meet “The Sisters” – Penny Mae and Sally Ann. They are available for adoption at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

Penny Mae and Sally Ann are Labrador/Pyrenees mixes. These girls were adopted from the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People about 3 years ago when they were little puppies. They grew up to weigh about 70 pounds each and were too much for the owners to manage.

Penny Mae and Sally Ann were returned to the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They have always been together and do not like being apart. Best of all, both girls are houses trained. Both dogs have been spayed and are current on starting vaccinations including rabies.

Penny Mae and Sally Ann has been micro-chipped for identification purposes and when they are adopted they will receive a gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance. Their adoption fees have been reduced from $150 to $65 each in an effort to find them a home.

For additional information on adopting Penny Mae and Sally Ann call 903-597-2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org.  Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm, closed for lunch 1-2 pm.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is a selective admission no kill animal sanctuary. They offer dog boarding and routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats. Follow them on Facebook and twitter.   Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
