Oh, Good. Mel Gibson Wants to Help Lindsay Lohan. [VIDEO]

Anger management and racial harmony expert Mel Gibson may reach out to Lindsay Lohan.

You mean they aren't BFFs already?

An interviewer pointed out to Gibson that he reached out to Britney Spears during her darker times, and then asked if the 'Braveheart' actor would do the same for the oft-troubled Lohan.

"I know Lindsay," the Aussie charmer said, adding, "I've reached out to her before. I may again."

Of her woes, he said, "I know about that ... It takes one to know one."

Lohan's got a slew of stars in her corner. Max George of boy band the Wanted, who rebuffed her advances shortly before she socked a psychic in the face, insisted she's a "good girl." And fellow treatment (read: rehab) enthusiast Demi Lovato has spoken out in defense of the 'Liz & Dick' starlet.

What's more, fellow reviled actor Charlie Sheen even paid off some of  LiLo's back taxes -- but apparently not enough.

We think only good can come out of a Lohan/Gibson meet-up. Especially if it's at a cultural sensitivity class that serves only water.
