It all started in August with two-a-day practices is the sweltering summer heat and now it comes down to one game, one more win will give two East Texas teams 2016 Texas High School Football State Titles!

The Mineola Yellowjackets are the first to take to the field tomorrow night at AT&T Stadium. Kick off is at 8 p.m. Thursday night against the Yoakum Bulldogs. Looking at records, Mineola should win with a 13 and 2 record for the season over Yakum's 11 and 4 record. According to ETSN.fm, both teams are looking for their first state title win.

Going for their fifth state title, the Carthage Bulldogs will be on the field at AT&T Stadium Friday afternoon taking on Abilene Wylie at 4 p.m. in Arlington.
