Mix 93-1 CTCU Teacher Of The Week May 15th

Mix 93-1 and CTCU are proud to recognize outstanding teachers from our East Texas classrooms!

This week's recipient is Mrs. Reed a 5th grade teacher at Caldwell Elementary in Tyler.

Mrs. Reed was nominated by a parent because of what Mrs. Reed did several months ago for her students!

My daughter's teacher goes above and beyond in the classroom and out of the classroom for all of her students. For example, she invited her class and the families of her class to join her for the Christmas parade in downtown Tyler. She got there super early for everyone and laid out blankets for all the kiddos to sit on and saved great spots for all of us on the route so that we could all join in together and make memories with our children as a group. My daughter stays after school with her sometimes and helps out in the classroom and she is always giving my daughter an outlet for her to blossom with her creative artistic side. Mrs. Reed is a favorite at the school because of her huge heart and all she does for everyone there. My daughter absolutely adores Mrs. Reed.
