Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week January 1st

Mix 93-1 along with Half Price Books and Aspen Creek Grill are proud to recognize outstanding teachers from our East Texas classrooms!

This week's recipient is Candy Quinney, a first grade teacher at Winona Elementary School in Winona.

Ms. Quinney was nominated by a parent of one of her students who had this to say:

I am nominating my son's teacher on his behalf because she truly is one of the most wonderful teachers our family has had the pleasure to know. Our son has been struggling with some medical behavior problems that are slowly being worked out with his doctors. During this process she has not only been so patient and caring with him, but she has also done the same with us as his parents. She cares so deeply for all of her children and you can see that everyday in the way she communicates. Our family will always appreciate and be thankful for the support she has provided! It would mean so much for her to recieve this honor so she can see just how important she is!"
