Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week February 5th

Mix 93-1 along with Half Price Books and Aspen Creek Grill are proud to recognize outstanding teachers from our East Texas classrooms!

This week's recipient is Ashley Veach, an 8th grade reading and ELA teacher at
Quitman Junior High in Quitman.

Mrs. Veach was nominated by a peer who had this to say about her:

Mrs. Veach is an excellent teacher. She is Student Council sponsor for the junior high and keeps her students involved. They recently donated over 1,200 canned food items to our local food pantry. Recently, she also took them to the Mavericks season opener for a leadership seminar where they got to listen to Hall of Famer, Rolando Blackman speak. She is also a coach's wife that sacrifices many hours to our school."
