Mom, Do You Embarrass Your Daughter?

Kids these days would turn their own mothers in to the police - the fashion police, anyway. A survey found that a third of girls are embarrassed by their mom's clothing! A quarter of daughters think mom needs to grow up and quit dressing so young, and one in four thinks that she should cover up because her clothes are too revealing.  Less than a third of girls think their moms dress appropriately, and only a fifth would go so far as to say they look stylish.  Generally, daughters complained about moms who try too hard to look sexy or keep up with current trends.

It appears that Madonna’s daughter took the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” approach.  Together, the pair has a fashion line full of edgy, youthful styles appropriately called “Material Girl.”
