‘Movie Posters’ Exhibit Open at Gallery Main Street

A new and unique exhibit opened Saturday, at Gallery Main Street located at 110 W. Erwin St. in Downtown Tyler. “Movie Posters” consists of artists’ re-interpretation of classic movie posters or posters for movies of their own imagination.

Nineteen original works of art by eleven artists are on display in this juried show. The theme was selected to coordinate with the Sixth Annual Downtown Tyler Film Festival, which is set for Sept. 21 to 24 at Liberty Hall.

Gallery Main Street is a project of the City of Tyler Main Street Department in cooperation with the volunteers of the Downtown Tyler Arts Coalition and Heart of Tyler, Inc. The Gallery opens a new juried exhibit approximately every eight weeks.
