Tyler Parks and Recreation department is bringing family fun to the park again by presenting the Movies in the Park series!

This week's feature presentation is 'Planes: Fire & Rescue.' But there's been a venue change for this free family event.

Normally the movies are shown at the amphitheater at Bergfeld Park, but because of forecasted inclement weather, the movie can be seen for free at the Glass Recreation Center at 8:15 p.m. Friday (May 29).

Watch Dusty train to become a firefighter in order to help preserve his air strip from the comfort of your blanket or lawn chair at the Glass Recreation Center. Feel free to bring along some of your favorite movie snacks, too.

The Glass Recreation Center is at 501 W. 32nd Street in Tyler.
