‘Movies in the Park’ Returns to Bergfeld Park in Tyler
With spring’s return to East Texas, the 2013 Spring Movies in the Park series returns this weekend to Bergfeld Park thanks to the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department.
Kicking off the series will be the classic Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell and Gene Lockhart movie “His Girl Friday”. The showing will begin at 8p at the amphitheatre at Bergfeld Park in Tyler. Debbie Isham, Tyler Parks special events manager says, “the Free Movies in the Park are an excellent opportunity for residents to enjoy a great family film at beautiful Bergfeld Park.” All you’ll need to do is show up and if you’re the type of person that loves to snack while watching a flick, remember to bring them along and maybe a blanket or something comfortable to put down in your seat!
Other movies planned for the season include:
- “Thunderstruck” at 8p on Saturday, April 20th
- “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” at 8p on Saturday, May 11th
- “Dr. Seuss, The Lorax” at 8p on Saturday, May 18th
