National Salvation Army Week

This week is National Salvation Army week and to honor and celebrate this week, you can help out by donating several ways that will benefit East Texans.

The Salvation Army has teamed with Carter Blood Care with the annual Fans For Life blood drive in Tyler. For every pint of blood that is donated through the Salvation Army blood drive, Carter Blood Care will make a financial donation to the Salvation Army that will in turn be used to purchase box fans for those that will need them this summer.

The Fans For Life donation drive is happening today, tomorrow and Thursday. Simply drop off a new box fan at the Wells Fargo Advisors office on South Broadway in Tyler and these fans will be distributed to those in need this summer.
