The lineup for the U.K.’s 2012 V Festival has been announced, and thanks to scheduled performances from Nicki Minaj and David Guetta, pop will be well represented at the alt rock-centric concert. While it hasn’t been confirmed that the ‘Turn Me On’ collaborators will be taking the stage together during the festival, Minaj and Guetta have officially signed on to perform at the two-day concert.

The headlining acts for the 2012 V Festival, which occurs at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on August 18 and April 19, include the newly reunited Stone Roses, the Killers, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Snow Patrol. Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is also set to take the stage, as is British ‘Written in the Stars’ rapper Tinie Tempah. Keane, James Morrison, Pixie Lott and the Ting Tings are all slated to perform, as well. ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’ hitmakers the Proclaimers will also perform, as will Tom Jones and the Human League.

“We’re really delighted with the lineup this year,” festival director Simon Moran said in a press release (via Digital Spy). “We have a great mix of artists topping a bill that will see the welcome return to live performance of Manchester’s finest export [The Stone Roses], along with some of the biggest acts in the music industry… The mix of established and exciting breakthrough acts promises to give festival goers a cracking weekend.”
