Old Jacksonville Lane Closures Begin Monday

School's out for the summer in Tyler, so our street department is in full swing. Monday morning if you commute via Old Jacksonville Hwy you will want to allow more time.

Southbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. till 4 p.m. to allow for the installation of a box culvert between Grande Boulevard and Three Lakes Parkway.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes when available, as the first block of Elton drive west of Old Jacksonville will also be closed.

The good news is construction is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday June 20.
