One Direction Perform ‘Best Song Ever’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’

If anyone even bothered to boo the performance of One Direction on last night's (Aug. 28) 'America's Got Talent,' thousands of delirious Directioners made absolutely sure no one would ever hear them.

1D performed their VMA-winning Song of the Summer, 'Best Song Ever,' to delighted, screaming fans at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. A state-of-art light show was the group's second-best special effect (after birthday boy Liam Payne's dance moves!). The performance, which was pre-recorded Monday (Aug. 26), aired on the 'AGT' Top 12 results show.

The appearance was timed in conjunction with the release tomorrow (Aug. 30) of the 1D movie, 'This Is Us' -- and wow, did Zayn Malik ever do his best to promote it! In answering host Nick Cannon's question about the flick showing the guys go wild, Zayn said, "There's plenty of topless scenes."

The screams following that were beyond deafening!
