‘Dancing With The Stars’ All-Star Edition

Maria Menounos and Derek Hough were the latest celebrity couple eliminated from Dancing With The Stars last night on ABC.  That now sets the stage for the finals coming up Monday evening with the winner being announced next Tuesday.  Celebrities remaining in the competition to win the famed Mirror Ball trophy are - William Levy, Katherine Jenkins and Donald Driver.  In other DWTS news, ABC announced plans yesterday for the fall edition of the dancing competition, it's going to be an all-star season!

Is ‘All You Can Eat’ Really ‘All You Can Eat?’ [POLL]

CNN is reporting on a man, Bill Wisth, from Wisconsin who went in to an all-you-can-eat restaurant for fish. After serving the 350 pound man a dozen pieces of fish, the restaurant said they were running out of fish and cut him off.  They sent him home with eight more pieces of fish, but that wasn’t good enough for Wisth.

As you drive by the old People’s National Bank Building in Tyler you can look at it fondly now as a Tyler Historic Landmark. The designation became official in a ceremony yesterday as part of National Historic Preservation Month.

Nelly Furtado ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ Release Date Bumped

It’s either a not-so-good sign or a necessary evil, but Nelly Furtado‘s forthcoming album ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ has been bumped to a Sept. 18 release date. The Canadian songbird’s fifth album was initially due out on June 19, where it would have been competing with Justin Bieber‘s ‘Believe.’ So why the bump?

Jordin Sparks + John Legend to Perform Tribute to Whitney Houston at 2012 Billboard Music Awards

Whitney Houston will be saluted posthumously with the Billboard Millennium Award at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Along with the honor, chart-topping artists Jordin Sparks and John Legend will perform songs in memory the late pop icon who passed away in February.

Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and sister-in-law and former manager Pat Houston will be on hand to accept the award for Nippy.
