Pajamas To The Prom?

First it was the overly frilly prom dress, then it was the too skimpy prom dress and this year there's no dress at all.  Now, girls are wearing pajamas to the prom.  And no, that's not a typo.

According to a recent article, the trend started with girls emulating Rooney Mara's look from 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.' Although I saw that movie and don't remember her character wearing pajamas.  (She did wear combat boots and carried a taser yes, but no pajamas.)

Since we've gone from frilly to skimpy to pajamas, maybe next year the trend will be to do the prom Molly Ringwald/Pretty In Pink style and make your own prom dress!
