Bon Jovi has selected a band from Palestine to open up for them when their 'This House Is Not For Sale Tour' rolls into the American Airlines Center in Dallas on February 23rd!

Bon Jovi had been conducting a national search to find opening acts for their latest tour through their website. The search was open to all bands as long as they possessed the style and sound along with the substance to take on an arena setting! From the band's website, Jon Bon Jovi had this to say,

Every great band starts small and builds their rep one show at a time. That’s the opportunity we were given and now we want to pay it forward. If you’re ready for the arena stage, submit your audition tapes and join us in playing for the best audiences in rock music."

With Bon Jovi's Dallas show coming up next week, the band notified Blacktop Mojo of Palestine with the news that they would be the ones opening up for them at the American Airlines Center on the 23rd! Formed in Palestine, Blacktop Mojo have been playing together since 2012 and they're about to play on the biggest stage in front of the largest audience in their history so far! Check out the video that they submitted to Bon Jovi that got them the gig on Bon Jovi's Facebook page!

You've got a chance to see them before they make it to the opening gig at the American Airlines Center! Blacktop Mojo will be playing an acoustic set at Lago del Pino in Tyler this Saturday (February 18th)! They've got several more shows booked around East Texas too, including Elkhart, Flint, Tyler and New Summerfield.
